Hello all
I think by now that most people have heard that I resigned from the position of Host Lead on Monday 5th November.
This was not a decision that I took lightly and I considered several events and situations carefully before coming to the conclusion that resigning was the best thing for me to do.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you hosts and leads for all you do for WGC and for the fun you each have given me. I loved visiting the rooms each day and causing chaos, handing out a few smacks (sometimes more than a few) and generally having fun with you all. I even managed to be voted "Pita of the Month" in one of the rooms
I will still be hosting in the "big 4" games each week and look forward to spending more recreation time with you all in the lobbies.
Keep doing what you all do so well, bringing the fun to the players and giving your precious time to keep WGC the best site on the web.
Well it is a sad day that us hosts have lost a great host lead that showed us all fairness and respect. She lightened up the lobbies that she entered both for the players and hosts and made so much fun with her witty remarks and smacks that were handed out (except to me as she knew i liked them too much lol)
Knowing Grey as i do, a very close friend, i know that she would not of taken this decision lightly and i respect her decision was right for her.
Im sure we all look forward to the fun still to come as she is going no where as a fellow host woooooohoooooo
btw she reading what i saying sat behind me so i had to be nice lol (only joking!!) i wouldnt let her on her pc hahahaha

I cant belive that u quit U are one of my fav people here and in the zone,I dont understand why and never will,But it seem WGC is not doing something right For to many good leads are leaving and to me u are one of the best.pleased o come and vist me in spades in the am and iam very mad at the leaving of u for once u step down we never realy see u again and that stinks
Just wanted to say, thanks Grey for all you've done as our host lead. I vote you PITA of the century but then I know you really are lol. WGC has lost their best asset as far as I'm concerned & I'm not gonna apologize for being corny so publicly but as I said before you are the " Queen of Hearts " so glad you'll staying around for the fun hunny.

Thanks so much for everything you've done here. You've been a friend, and a mentor, and someone I think all here felt was always fair and even-handed, to hosts and players alike. Your accessibility and sense of humor made you a stand-out in your role as host lead, and for all of that, I'm truly grateful. Thanks. And feel free to come smack me anytime .
Abuelita touched on something in another thread that, while I think it was misconstrued, does cause a bit of concern. I don't think for a second she assumed you resigned over the announcement of the 2-hour rule change, but something we both noticed was that no other leads were commenting ... it seemed all directed at Wacky (the messenger, shot again). I can't imagine he came up with the idea and announced it all on his own, without any input by the other leads. This resignation in the same space of time leaves us to wonder how united our leads are. I hope we're mistaken. The events of the past week highlight the fact that this site needs to grow. Hopefully, our leads are working together on the things they're responsible for to make that happen. The loss of a great lead like you, Grey ... well, you're shoes can't be filled, as far as I'm concerned.
Grey, I wish ya the best, and loads of fun! Cuz ya don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing (I read that somewhere ).

Lois's fault, smack her. The vision of someone trying to squeeze into Grey's size 2's, it's like Cinderella & the ugly sisters all over again. Wonder who Prince Charming is. It's a pantomime!!!!! I'm gutted your not my host lead anymore simply because you are a Class Act!!!!!!!! I know whatever you choose to do, you'll be an asset and I think I can safely say I've never been smacked by a boss before lol
Good thing you aren't leaving the site all together, because I couldn't spare ya! The way ya enter the room smackin' is something I look forward to. I never know when it is gonna happen, so I am always in a heightened state of alert. Now that you will have more time to play... more time to make surprise attacks on poor unsuspecting hosts... I need to sharpen my Greydar.
Even at the zone, I was in awe of the way you command a crowd and when needed, "soothe the savage beast" with a quick one liner.
Alot of us have looked to you as an example of what we would like to be when we grow up. I know I certainly have. Maybe someday when i finally do grow up I will be half the host you are... and as adverse as I am to setting goals and actually working to achieve them, that is saying something.
Thanks for everything you did, were doing, and trying to do for everyone when you were Lead, the countless hours you donated, the countless times you were there for each and every one of us when it seemed like no one else would listen.

You WILL be missed by all of us, hosts, leads and players. Your quick wit and manner lightened the lobbies and, often, msn *lol* Hugs and the best to you. See ya in the lobbies!!
PS FYI to the comment about the change in BG. The change made in BG was made by BG lead. I know I do not suppose to know what is best or make decision for other areas except for euchre, therefore, I do not expect to be part of the decision process of rules in BG.
