windows 7 can't get spades to work

Hi There, does anyone have any ideas on how I can get spades to work with 64 bit Windows 7? I tried all the suggestions in the frequently asked question sub-menus (run as admin., and make compatible for win 98), they don't work for me.

The specific error I get is 'client.exe has stopped working.' I have pretty much tried everything, my old computer crashed, and I want to start spading again as soon as possible! I missed everybody...sob.

try reinstalling wgc can also try using 32 bit instead of 64
