After much anticipation and suspense, WGC is proud to announce an upgrade which will allow guests to enjoy emoticons in chat! Since this upgrade is still in the testing stage, this is an optional upgrade and may be reverted back at any time.

Please note the following limitations regarding this upgrade and do not proceed if any of these issues will impede your duties at WGC:

• WGC FlowControl is not yet compatible
• Snacky's is not yet compatible
• Right clicking in chat does not give a context menu for usernames
• Clicking anywhere in the lobby will not automatically set focus to the send box

Also, please note a few changes in functionality so that they are not confused as bugs:

• Chat box may display 'Loading...' for a few seconds before chat appears
• Not all of the chat buffer will be visible at once. To see chat history, scroll to the top of the chat and click '^^ View Chat History^^'
• When scrolling, new chat will NOT be added to the box. New chat will be buffered and added once the scroll bar has been returned to the very bottom.
• Few graphical changes within the client (i.e. Login Window background, User List background, Marquee, Chat Box)
• Options box has been given a tabbed interface to separate font and lobby options
• Hosts will see a 'Host Macro List Input' box when entering a lobby and will see chat duplicated in this box. This is to make the lobby compatible with a few macro programs.
• Links are now made clickable by detecting a double forward slash ('//'). This may cause some text (other than links) to appear clickable.

Due to the potentially unstable nature of this upgrade, by downloading it you are agreeing to help test by reporting any bugs you believe to be caused by the upgrade. Please report bugs through our bug tracker, a shortcut link has been provided below:

If, at any time, you need to revert back to the current client without emoticons, simply download and re-install WGC Client from the downloads page:

Installing the upgrade is simple! First, close all open lobbies and download the setup file (there is a button to download at the bottom of this page). After the file has downloaded, run it and go through the short install process. When install is complete just open a lobby and enjoy the emoticons!

Note: There is no need to uninstall current versions of WGC Client.
